Great short day yesterday in Chicago. I’ll just quickly expand on what I learned before the conference starts today.
So I came in yesterday afternoon so I just caught the middle to end of the last concurrent sessions but I love the vibe that is here in Chicago.
Yes, it is easy to feel that way when you are surrounded by believers: people that believe that technology can help solve some of the most pressing issues in employment today. But it is also great to meet with and hear from people who know that technology is great but it isn’t the end all/be all and it won’t even get close without execution. You cannot build a technology platform and expect people to just understand the value of it.
The networking events were especially good and I’d like to give a shout out to Knowledge Infusion for holding a great event at the Sheraton last night. I also very much enjoyed meeting up with HRmarketer, Starr Tincup and HRM Direct.
