I know some of my readers think all I care about is Human Resources and the Portland Trail Blazers but this is simply untrue!Â
If you listened to my interview with the Recruiting Animal, you know my dad owns a small meat processing plant here in the Northwest and I grew up in that environment. Let’s just say that I am very comfortable with my meat and where it comes from and I am a little obsessed with tasty meat.
So when I was looking for meat blogs, I only found a couple that really stood out to me. Couple that with my somewhat unique knowledge of meat and I decided to launch Meaten.com. This is going to cover everything from steaks, to sausage, to sushi and back again.Â
If you’re a meat lover like me, this site is going to be cool. If you’re a meat hater, you should stick with this blog as it is going to remain 100% vegetarian.
You can subscribe by e-mail or subscribe by RSS feed but at least check out the site first.

I’m vegetarian, so please don’t be offended, but I’m going to stay here in tofuland.
meat and the NBA. I love it when Lance does the “man up” thing. I’m just sayin…
@Kerry – Stay safely here in the confines of my HR world.
@KD – Fantastic. As long as you don’t try to out man me on my own blog!
Good meat and a Blazer game? Rocks for me. Now if the Blazers could have brought back the Schonz, and if Greg Oden doesn’t turn into the next LaRue Martin, Barry Parkhill, Rich Laurel or Sam Bowie, it’ll be a great blog.
Sorry Lance, I’m fairly confident that any “Meat” limerick I’d create would get inappropriate very quickly. On that note, I’ll take a pass on the poetry writing for today and I look forward to the new blog. Go Meat!
The Recruiting Animal is a vegetarian. But my friend, the meatriarchy, used to write a lot about barbeque.
I’m all about the meat. Be sure to tell us tips on picking out the best cuts and grilling secrets!
Glad you don’t plan to mix your bread and butter with meat.
